Need help fixing my ac/heater that does not blow out any air through the center vents or out the windshield area. The center vents on my 2008 honda accord does not blow air.

No air coming out of center vents in car. What would cause poor air flow in a vehicle heating system? The side vents and the feet blow strong. 2020 camry se 1500 miles 1993 camry i4 485k+ miles.
You can still hear the blend doors move when you change it to, defrost, face and floor modes. I have an '81 rabbit pickup. The center a/c vent has no air coming out only the defrost and side vents have air.
I'm having a problem with no air coming out of the vents hot or cold. Turns out the side vents of my 2009 honda blow air regardless of what setting i have it on (feet only, front defrost only, all result in side vent air). Try increasing the fan speed (which will disable the auto), and then press the middle vent switch and see if air comes out the middle vents.
If the air does come out, then you have no problem with those. I have 287k miles on my car. Test the wire harness to see if its getting power,if it is then your blower motor is bad if its not getting power then check your relay.
1 answer i get air out of side vents,floor vents, defroster, but not from the 2 center vents. Doesn't changed based on rpms. I believe i could fix it myself if i could just gain access to the area beneath the dashboard.
This part wears out eventually, meaning its fans can no longer push adequate amount of air out the vents or through window defrosters. What can be messed up? I just need to get the air coming out of the center vents so that when i charge the a/c i can actually get cool quicker.

In other situations, air may not blow out on some speed settings at all. Work the thumb wheel from one side to the other while checking the airflow. I pulled up to a stoplight and noticed that the vents had stopped blowing air.
Occasionally i’ll think the middle vents are broken because, like you, i get air coming out both side vents but not the middle. When i put the ac on high/coldest setting, the air comes out room temperature. The light behind the blower speed knob also does not illuminate.
Any answers or suggestions are appreciated! I also ripped out and tested the 2 servo motors under the steering wheel. If it is then that is the probable cause as the climate control automatically adjusts the air flow to keep the cabin temp at the set value.
Weak airflow is a sign of blower motor failure. Sucks when you’re trying to warm your right hand. Hello, the settings on my car there is no air blowing out of my vents either it is on ac or heat, when the setting is at high the air is working fine.
Nothing comes out of the center vents , no air at all, i was told tha. The flow should stop and start again, if the thumb wheel. But when it’s on 1/2/ or 3 i hear the motor working, but there is no air blowing.
Even if i set it on the lowest temperature and the highest fan setting, nothing still comes out. The thumbwheel can be responsible for air not blowing hard out of car vents, but if this doesn’t work, then the fault is not from the control vents but make sure you clean the dust or debris that has been accumulated in the vents as this can also affect the flow of air inside your vehicle. So there is no air coming out of my center dash vents.
The heated seat button still works. Air does come out of the side vents. I only get air on the side.
Nothing comes out of the center vents no matter which setting i choose (dual or single for the front). The vehicle only has 64000 miles on it. I went to a dealer and was quoted a price of between $500 to $1500 to repair this simple problem.

Ive got a lot of stuff taken out of the car, but would have to take even more out to get the a/c unit out to take it apart and check the dampers. Posted on jan 17, 2009 I've read where someone said that you can move a belo beneath the glove box.
I just bought a new climate control box and installed it, but it did not fix the problem. I've taken the cover off the underside of the glove box but don't know what the belows are. Stuck on side and defrost.
Discussion starter · #1 · jul 9, 2017 (edited) hello, today my vents stopped blowing air. I went and bought a recharge from auto zone and had them do it for me, but still no cold air, and then when i try to blow hot air, no air comes through the vents. They move and dont seem to be the problem.
I can't make heads or tails of the wiring and vacuum lines. But now there is no cold air. This door is controlled by a thumb wheel that when activated will open and close the vent air flow door.
Ok so i have no air out if center vents. Ask your mechanic to check it out. If your not getting any air coming out of the vents then your problem is your blower motor.
It was working in the morning fine, but in the afternoon i was having issues.
